Lake Region students had an opportunity to develop their financial literacy skills this week, and they rose to the challenge. The Financial Reality Fair, sponsored by Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and North Country Federal Credit Union, allowed students to consider the costs of modern life during a 90-minute simulation activity. According to Betsy Calhoun, FBLA Advisor, students "expressed appreciation for the opportunity to explore 'adulting' with a hands-on simulations where they experienced financial challenges."
