Lake Region sophomores visited the North Country Career Center in early December to review programs and consider options for next year. Students met with Career Center staff and toured the facilities, meeting with teachers and getting a sense of what each program had to offer. Career and Technical Education is an important part of Vermont's Flexible Pathways Initiative (Act 77). North Country Career Center hosts fourteen programs including Welding, Culinary Arts, Transportation Science, Human Services, Cosmetology, and Building Trades.
