The Brownington Central School is seeking a paraprofessional to work with teachers and other staff to ensure that behaviorally challenging students are successful. An understanding of how PBIS, Social-Emotional Learning, and behavior planning can work together for the benefit of students will be valuable.
A successful candidate will possess a comfort with and experience with challenging students and a healthy sense of humor. Lots of training opportunities.
Job responsibilities include: triage behavior and process or bring to the Principal; enter and track behavior data, support implementation of PBIS Tiers I & II (i.e. CICO, behavior planning); assist teachers with challenging situations; Designee on Harassment, Hazing, and Bullying investigations.
