Wellness Challenge & Fair

On May 23, 2026, the OCSU PTCA hosted its first annual Wellness Challenge and Fair. OCSU schools were challenged through the month of May to participate in several challenges related to health and wellness with a raffle prize for participants. The month of activities culminated with a Wellness Fair hosted at Lake Region where local health and wellness agencies and businesses shared their expertise and resources with the broader community.

This initiative was made possible by the NVRH Community Health Fund, sustained by generous donors in conjunction with NVRH's Community Benefit funding, to support heath and wellness needs in our local service area to reduce inequity and improve quality of life for area residents.

Winter Party

On March 7, 2026, the OCSU PTCA hosted a successful Winter Party, bringing families, students, and community partners together for an afternoon of winter fun, creativity, and connection. Activities included a StoryWalk® featuring Ten Ways to Hear Snow by Cathy Camper, storytelling with Ms. Denise, free books for children donated by Building Bright Futures, a Crockpot Cook-off, crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides, snowshoeing, and the popular “Anything But a Sled” competition.

Trick or Treat & Fall Festival 🎃👻

On October 25, 2025 the OCSU PTCA partnered with Lake Region's Student Council to bring the community a spook-tacular trick or treat and Fall Festival. With 15 trick or treat stations and several game stations, including a blind sensory guessing game, "Witch Pitch", sensory corn and bounce house -- kids we're sugared up and smiling all afternoon.
