Interventionist

Orleans Central Supervisory Union is seeking an Interventionist for grades K-3 to work the remaining of the 2019-2020 school year at Irasburg Village School. Candidate must hold a valid Vermont teaching license.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide targeted research-based interventions in math, literacy, and behavior
• Provide both classroom push-in and pull-out for at-risk learners
• Support the math, literacy, and social-emotional curricula
• Work with small groups of students as well as one-on-one
• Develop materials and lesson plans
• Evaluate and assesses student performance
• Collaborate and communicate with parents/guardians regarding progress
• Collaborate and communicate with classroom teachers
• Interpret assessment data and make data driven decisions
• Monitor and maintain accurate student records
• Attend EST/progress monitoring meetings, data meetings and other meetings as determined by the principal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Vermont teaching license
• Strong knowledge of research-based math and literacy intervention strategies

 
Job Requirements

• Applicants must be able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting.
  
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
